Lennonjak, also know as Lennon, the 'non, and formerly The Murdered Variant is a dead Soyjak variant created by a SoyBooru namefag named nonoko. The variant is very known for being forced on soyjak.party, and being banned by ROOT, The soyjak.party's former admin. Lennonjak is also a nameroll on soyjak.party, and is also Limeade's favorite variant[a].
History
[edit | edit source]The variant was created on the SoyBooru by the same namefag mentioned earlier, nonoko. The variant itself was created on February 19, 2024[2]. After the Soyjak was uploaded, The variant was called NAS brimstone, self-insert brimstone, and a couple more insults you can probably think of. Other SoyBooru users however, called the variant a Gem.
This variant was also forced on soyjak.party by the same Lennon supporters, and apparently soyteens calling themself's "lennonteens". After other soyteens responded by calling the variant itself being forced by Discord and other offsite communites, resulting in ROOT banning the variant around mid 2024 and banning anyone who supported it or anybody who posted it. Froot had also un-banned the variant sometime, but later on re-banned it in the aftermath of the Gigachad-Lennonjak War, and the Lemons vs Limes Soyfest. Quote had later unbanned the variant, ending 1 year and months of war against soyteens and lennonteens alike.
Lennon had a substantial influence on soyjak.party, particularly during 2024, where the Lennon banning led to widespread Anti-Rootist and Anti-Frootists sentiment, with detractors of Root and Froot using it as a symbol of resistance against the FDL. After Lennon’s banning, xis existence was subsequently erased from the Soyjak Wiki and SoyBooru, as well as being the variant being wordfiltered to "Lemons" and the Soyjak image itself being entirely hashbanned made it almost a mythical figure among soyteens, with some newGODs questioning whether it ever even existed. Not to mention that Lennonjak won a 7999999 GET during the Gigachad-Lennonjak War, which surprised most soyteens and which was certainly better than the 8 million GET. Gigaposters were in shambles ever since.
After all this happened, there have been debates and conversations if Lennonjak was not or was a Soyjak, many people from the SoyBooru and more people calling the variant itself a Gem[3], and more.
