8chan or 8kun or 8cuck was an Altchan imageboard site created by Fredrick "Hotwheels" Brennan as a platform for free speech with user created boards that were self moderating, it was known for being involved in many controversies and harboring all sorts of degeneracy mainly boards centered around 'P and Pedophilia, Patrick Crusius would post his manifesto on there and would become the inspiration for chudjak.

Fredrick Brennan, commonly refered as a joke as Fredrick "Hotwheels" Brennan is the furnigger faggot who made the original iteration of 8cuck, he had brittle bones disease which made xim so fragile that even a brap from Satoko could lift him up his wheelchair and kill him from how fragile were his bones, in January of 2026 the piece of shit finally died on his sleep from unknown causes, probably the feds or something.

Before creating 8cuck he was a janitor on other altchans and involved in some snca drama on CWCki forums with some literal who.

In 2013 Brennan created 8cuck after gathering enough money on Patreon and a while after the Gamergate censorship on 4cuck by Moot he began advertasing 8cuck as a free speech forum for all the people who wanted to discuss about Gamergate and other random raisin.

Overnight his imageboard began growing so quickly obtaining over 4000 of dat pph, becoming the second most active imageboard on the web.

He would often represent himself as a fat furry nigger despite being skinny as fuck.

Gamergate

Gamergate is an event that ocurred in 2014, when a foid named Zoe Quinn manupilated game reviews of her own game to gave it good ratings and later exposing a good part of the indie gaming industry, this event is what lead Moot to disassociate from 4chan and eventually selling it to Hiroyuki, before that creating the board /qa/ - Questions & Answers which as we know it led to the creation of soyjak.party and also partially creating that soyboy manchild stereotype, so someone could say that this event indirectly created the sharty.

Zoe Quinn

Zoe Quinn is the literal who foid that originally started this entire controversy, she basically fucked a bunch of game journalists so they could review postively her shitty game, without really having any skill at making games.

In the process she cheated her own boyfriend with 5 different people, sabotaging 3 different feminist organizations, shutting down websites she didn't like, making up shit, stealing games, even MORE prostitution etc etc etc.

So instead of the gaming industry apologizing and firing the 5 random niggers that were being manipulated by free sex offered by a whore they began damaging control, instead they decided to blame everything on it's users (the gamers)

The gaming press started to damage control by trying to change the topic of the situation to make it about feminism and harassment instead of the obvious blantant corruption that was going on, the articles began writting about how Zoe was a heccin strong independent woman and how those bigotted gamers were calling her a whore.

This obviously fooled no one or at least the people that knew that was going on.

Shortly after a person who was actually involved in a more professional manner in writting articles for the gaming industry resigned, he revealed that there's an entire code of silence on this entire controversy, and anyone trying to cover the topic is disposed of.

This ended up as a nothingburguer and later the same day all of them got replaced since there isn't really a standard for gaming websites about their writters.

When this didn't work journalists began calling gamers all type of slurs, while most of them were true this is something you wouldn't expect for someone that has to act in a professional manner every day when covering the news.

Funny enough, they were forced to apologize in public for all of their words dedicated to the bigotted gamers.

A little later the journalists began leaking info, a few writters who wanted to leak the info without risking losing their jobs they began writting articles anonymously.

Shortly after this they began claiming that le heccing gamer culture was dead by all of them releasing 20 different articles the same day about how gaming culture is dead.

Exodus

At the peak of Gamergate in 2014 8cuck began having a massive influx of users from 4chan after Moot began censoring everyone talking about the topic, often giving sitewide and extended bans, Brennan welcomed it's new users offering them a new alternative to 4chan were they would be allowed to talk about any raisin they care about, however often the site ACKED and went down but this was fixed quickly, even after the gamergate many of the people that migrated to 8cuck stayed on 4chan which would cause for a few years a rivalry between the 2 chans (basically 8cuck is the jarty's 4cuck.)

After the 4chan hack of 2025 both 8cucks gain massive spikes in activity, however after 4chan came back online everyone just went back to 4chan.
