Admin I - Gigadmin
June 2025
- Jun 25 - The Gitty was created after a Giga5 'teen found the url available for a cheap price. It used to run on vichan, but then switched to jschan due to Quote's clittytsunamis and vichan's shitty code.[1] [2]
- Jun 26 - The owner, Gigadmin creates a Telegram group for discussion things about the Gitty.
August 2025
- Aug 08 - Members of the Gitty create a wiki for archiving information and a steam group.
- Aug 15 - Members of the Gitty start hosting gamenights.
- Aug 23 - Members of the Gitty start making a weekly event called the Gigasing, where musical AI gigas compete agaisnt eachother to see which one gets the most votes. Gigasing I is hosted.
- Aug 29 - Members of the Gitty start creating SNCA telegram groups as a way of splintering from the OG Gittygram.
- Aug 30 - Gigasing II is hosted.
September 2025
- Sep 06 - Gigadmin goes insane, starts rulecucking immensely and announces that he plans to sell the Gitty to someone else, and if nobody buys it, he will shut it down on 15th of September. Gigasing III is hosted.
- Sep 10 - Gigadmin manages to accidentally completely brick the site, rendering it completely unusable and only show the jarty shutdown page. He also bans a notable chunk of the users from the telegram, causing users to splinter and turn against him.
- Sep 13 - Gigadmin starts taking bids from users who want to buy the site, announcing that he will delete it completely if nobody buys it. Gigasing IV is hosted.
- Sep 14 - Gigadmin calms down, lifts all bans from the telegram; causing the telegram to become peaceful again. 12 hours later, he proceeds to again ban a notable chunk of the userbase due to them making a discord server
Admin II - AC
- Sep 19 - The Gitty is sold over to AC for 45€
- Sep 20 - AC gives gigateens an ultimatum, that they need to delete the Gigacord or they will also get banned from the swinnygram, making gigateens turn on him and wish for Gigadmin back.
- Sep 21 - The site goes completely down.
