Marge.city was a splinter made in May, 2023 by some discord furtroon.
History
[edit | edit source]Marge.city started as a regular imageboard with only one board called /marge/- Margeposting. Its admin was named Middy[1] and the site had its own irc channel at irc.rizon.net[2] It also had its own slang with the word "beer" replacing "gem" and "Bart" replacing "coal". Sometime later, marge.ctiy would redirect to a forum version at margecity.boards.com (with the admin now going by the username of bigbully). This could be considered the oldest soysphere forum, predating the schlog, while having similar features like a Shoutbox, the difference that the schlog used xenforo while Marge City used proboards. It closed down nearly instantly after it was shilled during the Soypocalypse, due to a massive wave of 'p spam.
