Bane is an old meme that started/originated from 4chan’s /tv/ consisting of posting LE KINO about the side character Bane from “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises”. The meme has brought us terms like “You’re a big guy”, “Dr. Pavel, I’m CIA”, and “Crashing this plane, with no survivors”.
Sneed-Bane Wars
[edit | edit source]Long before the wars of Monkeybone and Son of the Mask there were conflicts on /tv/ about Sneed and Bane. Baneposters would often post greentexts about killing Sneedquoters, and Sneedquoters would diss Bane in the form of A24jaks. After Jannies locked the /tv/ board in 2023, Sneed would be the final post, resulting in a Sneedish victory over the Banermensh.
