The Second Soybooru Crisis is an ongoing conflict on the 'ru, concerning approval policies of posts, and what counts as "rule-breaking".

It all started with various SoyBooru admins such as Mustard and Cobblestone approving a series of posts depicting obese babyjaks wearing a bikini, something that many Booru users would deem as sexualisation of kids and would argue for its deletion, with even some moderators attempting to take these posts down.

Eventually, a janny called MenstrualCykill would announce that he would "reject any sexualized babyjaks in the queue" on the Shroom, which resulted in his initial demotion by Mustard, this has certainly never happened before.

Immediately after, emerald was promoted to replace him. Outrage ensued, as this aggravated perceived missteps in moderation of Mustard's administrative policies regarding what counts as "sexualizing a minor".

Mustard's perspective

The sexualized babyjaks are meant to poke fun at puritans who think everything is 'p. Since no one actually goons to sexualized babyjaks, it's okay to post them. This contrasts with Soylita since actual pedos goon to it and post it seriously. No one posts babyjaks with a sexual intent.
