Moonjak is traced of an in-game ad from popular videogame Cyberpunk 2077, advertising the fictional brand of snacks "Moonchies", where an eater representing the viewers eats a moon representing the snacks.[2] A screenshot of this was posted to /soy/ asking for it to be 'jak, giving birth to the variant,
