2025

April '25

• April 20: The shroom is created by Shroot The Ban megathread and Jimbo's blog are also created.
• April 21: Soyjak.forum is put offline by domain hosters and an other domain and an onion service are created. Princessparkles comes back and creates a shroom version of the Princess Diaries.
• April 22: The shroom suffers a failed ddos attack. A popup gets added telling users to click it, that when done, redirects to a secret page with a Froglaugh.
• April 24: An alternative domain is created. A thread gets made about a xitter account that supposedly belongs to Steve, but it turns out to be a falseflag. A thread gets created to decide how the shroom mascot is gonna look like.
• April 25: Nutopia thread gets created.
• April 26: Schlog goes back up under the telnet administration.
• April 30: Doll shares the ppd stats of the first 10 days of the forum.

May '25

• May 01: Banner contest. A thread gets created where users can submit their own banners to add to the site. A Leftysoy board gets added for a day.
• May 04: The user LeHombre is revealed to be a pedophile.
• May 07: The shroom's natejak finalised design is created. The first shroomcuck slopjak is created shortly after.
• May 11: The banner contest ends, Kuzzykins, Jimbo and Namefag win for the most banners added.
• May 13: A thread gets created with a vote to decide the name of the shroom's natejak. Frank becomes the most popular.
• May 30: A thread gets created by Hamas_2 about a 3D printed Warrior-Z lamp.
• May 31: Above thread angers Warrior-Z and he decides to wipe all pro-shroom posts off the 'ru. Title gets temporarily changed to "Warrior-'P" forum to make fun of this.

June '25

• June 23: An event centered around MLG gets created, with wordfilters and an ability to give MLG reacts.
• June 27: A thread gets created where shroomers can create a variant together by taking turns.
• June 29: An extension for the site called "shroom+" is created, based on the "schlog+" extension of the schlog.

July '25

• July 01: MarioMan is demodded from the Schlog and switch sides to the Shroom.
• July 12: Terryjak gets posted on /leftypol/'s xitter account.
• July 15: An 8ball feature is added, which gives a random response based on a question asked. It is accessed by writing "8ball" in brackets.
• July 21: Battenburg theme is added.
• July 29: Status.soyjak.forum is created.
• July 30: OdessanBvll creates a video version of the Schlog Freestyle, which gets popular on the booru and sharty. Custom title colors added.
• July 31: A thread gets created for MVM gamenights.

August '25

• August 02: soyjaks.forum backup domain becomes available.
• August 10: The soyjak.forum domain is able to be accessed again.
• August 12: Doll announces on the shroom that he adopted a puppy.
• August 14: The letter "a" on all messages gets temporarily changed to "ɑ".
• August 15: An event called "Epidemic" happens, where users get an "infected" tag and gain a coinflip chance to infect others.
• August 18: Hacker theme added.
• August 19: A new react called "inconsolable" is temporarily added, which played a sound when used.

September '25

• September 05: Garf becomes the first user to reach 10,000 messages
• September 12: Ecstasy becomes the second user to reach 10,000 messages
• September 16: Shroomy gold theme added.
• September 19: A new version of the keyed react is added. The soyjak.forum also gets a cloudfare captcha that was previously only restricted to the .net domain, it is removed later.
• September 20: Legendary bait thread. Ascence shitflings with Shroom users for 33 pages.

October '25

• October 10: Board icon contest.
• October 18: New banner contest.
• October 22: Halloween theme gets added.
• October 25: The "Hmmmm..." react is replaced with a KF inspired "Informative" react because of Goot.

November '25

• November 03: After some massive shitflinging, multiple users get banned for spamming coinslot and are given a role under their names called "🎗️ AIDS Survivor 🎗️". Going fowards, all users banned for posting cado are given this role.
• November 11: The KF inspired "Informative" react is replaced with a the "Hmmmm..." react because of Goot.
• November 15: Discussion erupts on the ban megathread over another coinslot spam incident that caused a user to be permabbaned. The ban is reverted but fights continue to break out over pro-slot shroomers vs. jannies.
• November 16: After user Cargo starts leaking over being temp banned for posting coinslot, Shroot sets all his posts to manual approval and makes user Hillel Hartmann his own personal "caretaker" to approve them.
• November 19: Shroot changes the look of a few reactions but eventually reverts them.
• November 21: New Steam group is created. Shroot adds an "Attentionwhore" react in reference to a joke about the nuschlog.
• November 23: Cargo gets permabanned after posting a video of cado's onlyfans with him getting fucked in the ass.
• November 29: The Christmas wordfilter is added.
• November 30: An event is added where users see if they are on the naughty list or good boy list.

December '25

• December 11: Joel under his alter ego account "Young Jock" reveals that he is Joel and states that he wants to be forgotten and that this will be his final goodbye
• December 20: Shroot quits as owner
• December 22: Shroot forgets to pay for the server bill (Cat doesn't pay the bills yet).
• December 26: Christmas wordfilter is removed.
• December 30: Hillel claims his username is being changed to embarassing stuff by Shroot without without his consent.
• December 31: Doll bans all irc users from the Shroom. They later get unabnned by cat.

2026

January '26

• January 01: After Jimbo is banned for using the irc but later unbanned by cat, he comes back after a month's hiatus and various users change their usernames and profiles to impersonate him. Someone believed to be Chris Kappa joins the shroom under the username "chris_lee2".
• January 06: The drawpile is created.
• January 14: Catter adds a "fairy" reaction for a bit after being asked to.
• January 16: A nusoi joins the site announcing his nusoiness which leads to Idkchud to start asking provocative questions leading to cortex257, 1844 or something, Apeson, _account, and FrogKing to join in on asking questions to him who wasn't online, going on for tens of pages with him getting 376 notifications when waking up finally.
• January 20: Kate gets banned.
