It is considered the most popular old website ever due to it being older than even fucking Google itself. The site was made back in 1995 by Tom Fulp, who hired a bunch of random jannies and neglected the site as seen with the porn spam.

Newgrounds used to be a website with SOVL, despite being a home to gooner degeneracy since its beginning (notable gooners include Shädman (Powerword: Shaddai Prejean) and ZONE).
