Froot was the former owner of the sharty, owning the site from August 22, 2023 until May 9, 2025, when he gave it away to the current owner Quote. He was one of the most controversial admins in the history of the sharty, rivaling kuz.
During the beginning of his rule, Froot was very active (being the most active admin in the sharty's history) and the site's style of moderation turned into "ban everything I don't like", but as time passed he became less and less active, with his developers and managers basically doing the work for him and the site becoming less rule-ridden.
On May 9, 2025, after his wife became pregnant, Froot announced he would sell the site. Eventually he changed plans and said he would give the site to Soot or if he refused, his cabal. Eventually Quote, then the sharty's developer, became the new owner, and Froot hasn't been heard of since.
