The Gradingcaust was an event that was announced on January 13, 2026 on Soyjak Wiki where topic qualities (gem, coal, etc.) would be deleted. This even included widely perceived gem topics such as Soyak. This was made in response to "(((not wanting to give public influence)))" and "edit war prevention." On January 14 all quality templates and their existence one pages were deleted.
This lead to soyteens and nusois rioting on /soy/, with many despising the Gradingcaust and wanting the topic quality templates to come back.
