The Foidocaust is the nickname of an event where Quote banned most of the female namefags from SoyBooru.

History

The post that started this debacle.

Discontent with the female soybooru population was at a high point due to the attentionwhoring of particularly controversial users like Fembooru and Junibooru. At July 20, a barely IAS self-insert of a random foid who wasn't even a know namefag was posted to the 'ru. Quote who was browsing the site at the time, had enough and decided to ban all know female namefags, featuring the post and asking for a list of foids on the comments section [1], it was all said and done, with many booru users praising Quote for it.[2] Additionally, with Quote's attention in the thread, Tvrkicwvrriorforyuo was also finally banned for the Niko 'p controversy after jannies previously declined to ban him. Also somebody had joked to soysneed that Quote needed to be banned for being a foid, which soysneed did for a few minutes before reisntating his account.

List of affected

Svenniehoek

Originally, nobody knew who was the person depicted in the original post that started this debacle, as it was uploaded anonymously and there wasn't a namefag like that in the site. After digging, the person depicted appears to be a DeviantArt foid called Svenniehoek who had been accused of making lolicon and toddlercon content.[4] If Quote knew about that, it's possible that's what inspired him to take such a measure.
