Schlog-Shroom war is a conflict between the two sites as a result of their rivalry.
Causes
The shroom was originally created due to the uncertainty of Froot's sale of the site. When the schlog eventually came back online, shroomers preferred to stay at the shroom for the sake of the new site culture and the different moderation staff, primarily for distrust as the new owner telnet was an unknown user at the time. But ultimately, the real catalyst for the conflict was MoonMetropolis, who took most of decisions that attracted the anger of the shroom. Moon was made manager by telnet and spent the most time active and took most admin decisions. He already had expressed interest on buying the site and introducing his own moderation style of unbanning most users unless they did something seriously criminal. This stance was already criticized and took more backlash when implemented, coupled with Moon's decisions of adding an overabundance of reacts, pages, controversial views regarding Soylita and advoacy for the legality of ai generated p made him severely hated by the shroom userbase and specially its owner, Shroot, who would start a rivalry with him with both accused each other of being pedophiles.
Combat
Most started with verbal battles, criticisms and accusations with both sites encouraging a climate of hostility at the other. The main achievement for the Shroom was the creation of the "Schlog freestyle" song which is an ai generated song criticizing the nuschlog staff, itt was successful enough on the booru and sharty with even admins like Limeade having reposted it. The situation deteriorated after telnet quit the site and gave ownership to Moon, which removed a potential barrier to his decisions. Moon would also eventually be removed as sharty janny by Quote after a controversy involving him allowing NSFW on the nuschlog. The schlog's line of attack against the shroom would be the connection with JKLFarms to try to paint the soyjak forum as foodist. Attempts of this would fail on the sharty and wiki, after Quote deleted the JKLFarms wiki page and demodded MoonMetropolis on the site too for edit-warring. Eventually both the nuschlog and shroom pages would also be removed. Suznetsov’s bait got taken out of context by the jannies of the Sharty, which led to him getting banned, and Catter framing him for a thread on the Swinny that he never even made[1].
Result
The conflict reached a turning point after MoonMetropolis got banned from the main soysphere after an account impersonating BBQ Sauce on KiwiFarms made a post to spread the word about JKLfarms. Soyjak Wiki mods concluded that Moon was the one who made the account, however Moon denied that he was the one who did this, and pointed to speech pattern differences between him and the KF account as well as the two IP addresses of the accounts not matching as proof that it wasn't him, and claimed a shroom staff member was behind the falseflag.[2] Nevertheless, he would still be banned from the wiki and on the shlog by server owner Jackson who became the new admin of the site. Shortly after, Shroot convinced Jackson to shut down the shlog's servers, and the shroom declared victory prematurely before the site was brought back under its new owner, Pepsiman, with most of the mod team, including MoonMetropolis, re-instated and Jackson banned from the site.
