Oingo Boingo was a New-wave/Ska band active from 1979 to 1995 formed and led by Danny Elfman, well known for their high energy songs and experimental presentation. Despite not being very popular among normalCHADs, they are well-known for having lots of OC made about them and their songs (mostly made by one specific person).
History
[edit | edit source]Mystic Knights Era (1972–1979)
[edit | edit source]The Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo were a surrealist theater troupe started by Richard Elfman. They would run from 1972-1979, performing numerous shows and appearing in The Gong Show and directing the movie Forbidden Zone. In 1979 the Mystic Knights would be given to Danny Elfman and stop theater to become the rock band Oingo Boingo.
