Goot (and not to be confused with Gold who was also once named Goot), known on the SoyBooru as Bromine is a furry user of the shroom who quickly became one of the site's most infamous lolcows.

History

General info

Goot was a relatively obscure and unremarkable user of the schlog who migrated to the shroom after the Schlogpocalypse. There, he became more active and his behavior came under more scrutiny, primarily receiving criticism for his typing style, often making comments who didn't contribute much to threads or making jokes that didn't land. Goot was also criticized for his general poor use of reacts such as spamming the "Hmmm" reaction on people's posts which clogged up notifications, overusing the "Marge" reaction on posts criticizing him to feign ignorance and using other reacts in situations they weren't applicable. But his lolcow status only became really prominent once his secret xitter account was revealed.

FlvffFeeler88

FlvffFeeeler88 is Goot's account on twitter, notable for being a gooner and publicly liking and replying to suggestive and NSFW furry content. This fact became known in a now infamous Shroom thread on May 2025 that became know on the entire site and was responsible for the complete destruction of his reputation. Despite Goot denying it's him, there are multiple factors that heavily suggest they are one in the same, such as:

• FlvffFeeler being part of the soysphere and using anthro.foo
• FlvffFeeler being attracted to Joleton which Goot also mentioned on the schlog
• Both Goot and FlvffFeeler being from the Netherlands (it's important to note Goot is the only shroom member who is Dutch)
• FlvffFeeler following Steve on xitter and replying to a post about the shroom and mentioning telnet

Goot would reply to these allegations by denying he is Feeler88 and deflecting from the accusations whenever confronted, saying there were "psyops" and hate campaigns to harass him. However, his constant denial and failure to properly respond and debunk the evidence didn't stand to scrutiny and likely worsened his reputation even more.

General furfaggotry

The FlvffFeeler88 "leaks" would bring a barrage of memes who would be used to make fun of him for months to come. One includes FlvffFeeler's postitive response to a NSFW drawing of Jolteon from the Pokemon franchise, which was the most widely used to make fun of Goot. Others gems used to reply to other furry posts include the sequence of emojis ☝️💪💪🥛⚡⚡👌, and the phrase >I never thought I'd enjoy seeing fluffy armpits. Whenever Goot was callled a furry, he would always reply >Eve&ough hvman to suggest he wasn't one just because he doesn't have a fursuit. Not to mention Goot is a self admitted Averi fan and his booru account has a lot of furry posts upvoted.

Averi Soylita

Another massive controversy involving Goot's name was because he posted an Averi version of Soylita at a thread on the schlog. Goot would justify this with two different excuses, the first is that he didn't know much about Soylita when he posted it and the second is that he only did it because the thread in question was about posting brimstone.

Impact

According to a poll, the majority of shroom users consider him a furry. Him being exposed as gooner to furry shit and his constant smugness paired with constant refusal to admit his mistakes made him a figure constantly mocked by the rest of the Shroom. Various threads have been derailed constantly by users arguing with Goot, with him having direct impact on the site culture by causing a change of reacts and being added to banners making fun of him. Many theorize Goot is actually a fully independent Tulpa due to the weird behavior he displays.
