Broomi is the female mascot of the Broom.
History
[edit | edit source]Broomi was created on a Broom thread discussing whether the Broom was distinct enough from the rest of the SoyBooru to warrant its own mascot. Eventually, users started suggesting the possibility of an anime girl with a broom for a head. User Hoorse first uploaded the concept art[1] then user Onzikn posted the finalized version later that day.[2] Reactions were mixed, with some calling it a gem while others criticized for reasons such as her hair more closely resembling a mop than a broom.
Squirrel Broomi
[edit | edit source]Another lesser known mascot suggested at the thread, but got a poorer reception and overshadowed by its human counterpart.[3]
