General Channel, or GCH is a very weird imageboard (isn't considered a splinter) founded by an admin named SOUP, it is hosted on InfinityFree. The main reason for it's existence is to help the owner develop coding skills, hence why nothing was spent on it. It has only 1 board, /gen/ - General Discussion. The site is linked in the Splinter Highway as a soyjak-adjacent website.

The site was temporarily shut down[1] on April 16, 2026 because bobson (the owner of bobicuck) false reported GCH to InfinityFree for "racism"[2] even doe the website didn't have any because GCH had a thread that made his clit leak. The site has moved to gch2.rf.gd after the deplatforming, losing 2 weeks of posts in the process.

Rules

General Ruleset

  1. Do not submit content that violates Infinityfree's Terms of Service.
  2. Do not spam, necro-bump old posts, false report or excessively post on this website.
  3. All posts must remain on topic to the current discussion. Posts irrelevant to the thread's topic may be removed.
  4. Do not stenograph or obfuscate hidden content into uploaded media, for example hiding hidden pornography links into images is not allowed.
  5. Suggestive/Graphic content is not allowed, this includes explicit media that intends to sexually arouse or shock to an obscene degree that breaches public convention.

Permanent-Ban Ruleset

  1. Do not promote pedophilia or undermine the term. This includes any content that glorifies or trivializes the sexualisation of minors.
  2. Do not promote, encourage or link to content illegal in the Republic of Singapore.
  3. Do not participate in online communities deemed 'disruptive/hostile' by the general census of GCH. The term is vague in nature but common traits of such groups include targetted spamming, pedophilia, immorality, acting contrary to the GCH Rules, for more examples refer to this Soyjak Wiki article.
  4. Do not attempt to take the website offline through disruptive means like DDoSing or false-reporting. Report violating content using the '⚠' button located left of the post number.

Details

  1. If you violate a general rule, you in turn will recieve a punishment and/or have your post deleted. The ban is calculated by taking ( 1 day X # of times you have been banned).
  2. Breaking a rule in the 'Permanent-Ban Ruleset' section will guarantee a permanent ban from the website.
  3. Attempting to disobey general convention through the use of loopholes will warrant a ban, its decided by the moderation team.

Moderator Rules

  1. Powertripping is not allowed, all bans must be in reason with the rules with ban-messages indicating which rule was broken.
  2. Consistently failing to comply with the guidelines as a moderator will result in loss of priveledges, if you have a complaint, post in this thread.
