The Shemmy or shemmy.lol/Shelly/Helly (formerly shemmy.tv/Shevvy/Chevy soygem.party) is an imageboard website that was founded by Svvt as a splinter of the Sharty. The main board was /soy/, until it changed to /qa/ to try to be based off of 4chan's /qa/ board instead of the Sharty. The Shemmy went through many "owners", but its original domain soygem.party was always owned by svvt, until he sold it to some discord groomer when Vadim wanted to shut it down. About a month after svvt sold it, it came back with the domain shemmy.tv. When it came back up, it also had its logo changed, and came with a gay red style (later changed to blue) as the default one. It is one of the deadest niggers to ever dead nigger but it used to be alive or something supposedly.

JANUARY 2024 - MAY 2024 (Golden Age)

• Website was created by SVVT, who was apparently Japanese (Even dough this has never been proven doughie)
• Iconic shemmy culture was pioneered during this period, including mameson and soykemon, though the latter is considered lost media due to how few images from it are available to download.
• Mameson was created sometime in april in a jak em thread. The creator of Mameson called it "The worst soyjak I've ever made" (paraphrased). There is an archive of this thread. Ask around on the shemmy for it.
• A few Mame Raids took place soon after on the sharty, where the rumor then began to spread it was created by discord, however this has been DEBUNKED.
• PPH posting became popular towards the end of this period.
• Many well known namefags and avatarfags banned from the sharty began to flock to the website, including feralteen, alunyafag, kellyfag, and others.
• Scar (former shemmy co-admin) convinces DOLL to ban doxing from the sharty on February 24, resulting in the creation of swedishwin.com.

JUNE 2024 - JANUARY 2025

• Site began to slowly decline in pph.
• /soy/ and /qa/ would take turns becoming the main board due to relentless whining.
• Eventually the /qa/posters won and became the dominant culture on the website, which prompted the "name change" debate where some users wanted to distance themselves from the soysphere entirely.
• "PPH Day" Took place sometime in this period, maybe sometime in july. In a single day shemmites spammed enough to get their pph over 2000, an all time record for the website that has never been surpassed since.
• Some discorders snuck into the shemmy's staff during this period. Their names have been lost to history.
• Codefag, a new dev on the shemmy team, brought down the website because he is a slf. He was probably quote or a part of quotecord.
• Many offsiters began to influence the shemmy around this time. This includes many noname splinters like the affy and the chinny.
• Sometime during this period DOLL purchased the site under the alias of FOOT. Shemmites reacted to the news with hostility and so it was sold soon after to angeleno.

• On 2024 August 23 Mutt made Vadim the manager.

LATE JANUARY/FEBUARY 2025:

• Shitcoal.farty shut down, briefly redirecting to a pedophilic booru hosting lolicon content (same site that was raided in December 2024 during the Pedocaust). Then the domains soygem.party and basedgem.party were sold.

The domains were sold with a giant heading text reading "SOLD" and an image of John Pork. At one point in March 30 the server was just the Apache default configuration page. Both soygem.party and basedgem.party now redirects to chud.win, ironically a splinter of a splinter from the Shemmy.

FEBRUARY 2025:

• February 18-19, 2025: Nu-Shemmy appears as a revival of the Shemmy. The theme changes and new logo or something.

MARCH-APRIL 2025:

• For most of March through April the site redirected to archive.shemmy.tv, an archive of the Shemmy. By mid April the Shemmy reopened.

MAY 2025:

• not shut down but no posts
• the only posts in this month were from kuzzyboils after the Shemmy made /kgs/, but then they leaked and deleted /kgs/. After this kuzzyboils gemmed up /qa/ until an endchan board was made by a shemmy.kgb operative.

JUNE 2025:

• not shut down but no posts

AUGUST 2025:

• The 24th Poly announces the site is shutting down on August 30.

SEPTEMBER 2025:

• As of September 1st, once you visit their website, it shows a Russian flag and a 3D Russian text that says "crimea is ours".
• That site was later taken offline.

OCTOBER 2025:

• The site returns yet again on October 9 AS A JOKE. But apparently the admin mutt not ready to let it go after 2 years wants to find a host as literally everyone has at this point left the site and went outside. The site shuts down two days later.
• Shemmy somehow manages to crawl out of it's grave AGAIN and returns on October 27. /qa/ would be spammed with images of Chmouse for some reason. The site dies AGAIN after poly was not only revealed to be retarded enough to not protect or hide his IP but its also revealed he was selfhosting, as a result, his IP was reported to his ISP and his internet went down after being DDoSed along with the shemmy.

JANUARY 2026:

• January 6: The site returns for the thrembillionth time on January 6th, 2026 under the new domain shemmy.lol (shemmy.tv redirects there). The site was reportedly raided by a Sneedy member, and within a few hours, the site allegedly (according to chinnycucks) gets DDoSed YET AGAIN rendering most features including posting unusable. This is in spite of the fact the site had Cloudflare protection. Both domains then moved to an already existing Shemmy bunker on Endchan. The Chaddy spammed Dead Gigger Babies in a babybot-like style just like what they did to the Swinny, and reportedly lolicon was spammed on the bunker. This pressured the owner of the nu-Shemmy domains to stop redirecting to the bunker. The http of shemmy.lol redirects to https://www.example.com while the https version throws an SSL error.
• January 7: It comes back YET AGAIN, for real this time. Cloudflare was turned off. The site has a ReCaptcha and the posting system used to make you wait at least 600 seconds before posting. The site's moderation is active, banning 'P spam and other degenerate shit including failtrolls. Later that day, "Bidenflare" (e-mail verification system) was temporarily activated, making anonymous users unable to post, probably due to the CSAM spam that occurred during the day. Then Cloudflare protection was activated. The Shemmy becomes a such an extremely dead nigger that no one even wants to raid or DDoS it^{[for now...]}.
• January 9: Every board gets locked and the 'logs of every board gets reset to an earlier state. This is so Poly could implement manual post approval since spam and illegal content would appear on the boards. Expect the site to have 0 PPD as your posts will now be approved within 6 billion centuries.

Expect the site to be an extremely unstable DNB and prone to spam, raids, DDoSing, and eventually shutting down in the coming days.
