			A thread was created by antiswarthy on the [[shroom]] called "Think of fake splinter sites", where users were meant to invent fake splinters. On the next day, Swarthy came up with several names, including one called stargy. He then pretended to discover the site was actually real, sharing screenshots to convince others it was real. He depicted the site as full of [[sharty:pedophilia\|pedophiles]] with [[sharty:Lolicon\|loli]] and [[sharty:p\|cp]] boards, wanting to poke fun of the [[sharty:Jartycuck\|Jartycuck]] stereotype. A few users went along with the joke, while others were fooled, but eventually Antiswarthy revealed he made the site up using HTML, leading up to a pretty convincing Hoax.
