			On April 15, 2020, Feraljak made his first known apperance on 4chan's /v/ board. Filename suggests it was downloaded from elsewhere {{Thoughtext\|thoughever}}. Whereas other variants have a close connection with their source material, Feraljak's source material was not immediately apparent to the sommunity (soy community). The origin of Feraljak eventually became a [[Sharty:Lost Media\|long-running mystery]], and was the subject of much speculation by experts who attempted to unearth evidence of a possible first trace target. Most teens settled on the opinion that Feraljak was traced from either [[Sam Hyde Meta Irony\|Sam Hyde]] or [[Sharty:Soyboy\|Anthony Fantano]], due to superficial similarities. A fringe minority of disgraced Soyentists peddled the debunked conspiracy theory that Feraljak was not traced from any image at all and was in fact a wholly original drawing, despite the fact that this is NOT possible and that there are ZERO peer-reviewed studies that suggest so. This theory has been rated as entirely false by Snopes.
