These aren't your basic "don't be cringe" guidelines – these are the unwritten (but constantly memed) laws that keep the hall of mirrors from collapsing into pure sincerity. Break them and you're instantly coal; follow them perfectly and you ascend to gem status... or do you? The rules themselves might be ironic. Mind status: exploding.

Rule #1: Never break kayfabe unless breaking kayfabe is the kayfabe. You do not explain the bit. You do not say "this is ironic." You do not apologize to the soys. The moment you clarify your intent, the layers collapse and the magic dies. The audience must suffer in delicious ambiguity forever.
